About Us

Executive Director Welcome

Welcome to Lionsgate Academy! As the new Executive Director of this district, I feel privileged to have been chosen to serve this beautiful community in this critical role.

Everything we do at Lionsgate is aimed at fulfilling our mission of providing our students with a personalized education that fosters independence and self-determination.

We accomplish this by adhering to the four pillars on which this school was founded- Transparency, Collaboration, Balance, and Patience. We are transparent in our decision making process through open meetings of our Board of Directors, and by holding space for all stakeholders when making critical decisions. We collaborate with others both within the district and outside of it, in order to bring the best learning opportunities for our students. We strive to maintain balance when considering the needs of our students, staff, and families, as we take input from our stakeholders. We also strive to create a culture of work life balance for our staff, so they can live their best lives, and bring the best versions of themselves when they work with our wonderful students. While holding our mission as the northstar, and the four pillars as our vehicle, we are proud to be Lionsgate- a place to learn, a place to truly belong.

Sincerely,

Hala Asamarai, Ed.D.
Executive Director
