Welcome to the 2015-16 school year! Transportation will be coordinated by Kinga Peterson. Please read the following guidelines to make transportation an efficient process. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Kinga at kpeterson@lgamn.org.

GENERAL TRANSPORTATION EXPECTATIONS

  • LGA is a smoke free campus, including parking lots and fields

  • Please be respectful and courteous to car callers

  • Be aware of students who enter on the outside passenger door of car line

  • Drive slowly and exit cautiously

  • Questions and concerns can be directed to

  • With a 24 hour advance notice, you can cancel your student’s transportation needs by emailing transportation at  , be sure to cc your student’s case manager when doing so

  • For emergencies, contact the front desk at 763.486.5359

MORNING DROP OFF PROCEDURE

  • Enter the South East Entrance

  • Exit via the North East Exit

  • Students enter building at the Main Entrance

  • Doors open at 8:00 AM

  • A staff member is available from 8-8:25 AM to answer questions

  • Student 1:1’s meet their staff at the Main Entrance

AFTERNOON PICK-UP PROCEDURE

  • Enter the South East Entrance

  • Exit via the North East exit

  • Student car tags are displayed on car dashboard

  • As cars move along in line, move forward to fill gaps

  • Do not block flow of car line  traffic

  • Vehicles are expected to exit car line once students are safely loaded

  • The school MUST receive notification (via email or phone call from parent) if your student is being picked up by someone who is not on your pick up authorization form or if you are picking up a student who does not routinely ride in your car

CAR POOLING:

Lionsgate Academy is not involved with the coordination of car pooling. However, we do have a parent volunteer that helps with car pooling. Her contact information is as follows:
