Mr. Barnes


Mr. Barnes graduated from Cornell College in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in politics and philosophy. He earned a master’s degree in public policy from University of Northern Iowa in 2008 and he worked as a substitute teacher in Iowa. Mr. Barnes got his teaching certificate for social studies through Bethel University in 2011. He worked as a paraprofessional in the Mounds View School District for three years. Mr. Barnes is excited to share the joys of social studies with the LGA community. In his free time, Mr. Barnes enjoys reading, music, and being at the lake in the warmer months with his family.
