HISTORY
Lionsgate Foundation was founded in 2011 to support innovation in education for students with autism spectrum disorder. In the past, Lionsgate Foundation has funded major projects for Lionsgate Academy including converting an existing warehouse into a regulation gymnasium for physical education classes and a meeting space for the entire student body. With the addition of Lionsgate’s Shoreview campus in 2018, the Academy’s need for support from the Foundation is greater than ever.
PICKIN’ FOR AUTISM
First, mark your calendars for Friday, April 19th! Pickin’ (and Paddles) for Autism has got a new home at the Minneapolis Cider Company! LIONSGATE FOUNDATION’S ANNUAL BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER – SAVE THE DATE!
Each spring, Lionsgate Foundation hosts their annual Lionsgate Foundation Community Breakfast which benefits Lionsgate Academy. The breakfast is always an inspiring and heartwarming event where you’ll hear from our students, families and local community supporters. This year’s event will be held on Friday, April 26th, 2024 and our theme is “Creating Community Connections”!
