Lionsgate Academy’s Lynx program, launched in 2015, serves as our Federal Setting 4 program. Students in the Lynx program benefit from a highly structured environment and receive academic instruction and other support services at our Shoreview location. The program is specifically designed to support students with significant mental health needs. Lionsgate provides mental health support through an embedded, contracted provider who facilitates group classes and provides individualized support.
The Lynx program implements the Nurtured Heart Approach®, Life Space Crisis Intervention and Restorative Practices.

Lynx Classes
The Lynx Program offers core academic classes similar to those offered at our Minnetonka and Shoreview campuses. Classes may vary based on student need and are offered in each of the following subjects:
- Applied Math
- Math

- English Language Arts
- Social Studies
- Transitions
- Physical Education
- Art
Examples of our elective classes, which also vary, are:
